The Rouge Forum will be at the
National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) Conference again this fall.  It will be November 14-16, 2003 in Chicago, Illinois.  We will be making presentations and having a booth in the exhibit hall.  Be sure to stop by and visit us at the booth!

We also plan to make presentations at the 2004 AERA Annual Meeting April 12-16, 2004 in San Diego, California.
The Rouge Forum had a wonderful thought-provoking Summer Institute on Education and Society Institute June 26-29, 2003. This interactive conference focused on the question of building a caring education community while, at the same time, building serious resistance to inequality, racism, sexism, and irrationalism—in schools and out.  View pictures from the Summer Institute here.

The Rouge Forum was at the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) Conference   November 22-24, 2002 in Phoenix, Arizona.  We made presentations and had a booth in the exhibit hall.

Come visit our booth!---We tried our hand at retailing this year in Phoenix. We had some fabulous posters and other mechandize we sold as a way to support our efforts, not to mention the new Rouge Forum cd compliation which was 'released' in Phoenix (it's called "I'm Being Watched By the C.I.A."). But, as usual, the bulk of our efforts was focused on giving away thought-provoking literature and talking with conference goers about creating a more democratic society...
